Sunny Acres Miss Scarlet

It was almost an annual event, my friend Tami would send me a note right after she photographed the Western New York Show every May and would say how much she just loved this mare that the Vidlers showed, and she would attach a couple of proofs from the show. Then in August, the Vidlers brought her to the 2012 Massachusetts Morgan Show and Tami and I were both there with Anne Benson showing the Sarde Morgans. Finally, I saw “the mare” that had my friend’s attention for five years as she came through the gate while we were working a horse. It was love at first sight and I never tire of seeing this glorious mare come through the gate. I especially love her high, animated and rolling canter.

In 2016, Roxanne enjoyed her first rides on Scarlet and they were as thrilling as we always knew they would be. This formidable team enjoyed another great year together in 2017, having a blast and entertaining friends and fans, and Miss Scarlet is now enjoying retirement at home where we look forward to welcoming her future Sarde foals.
