Out of the only full sister to World Champion sire War And Peace, Blitz has been adorning show rings in spectacular fashion for almost two decades. Starting off as the NEMHA Futurity Yearling In Hand Champion and the Grand National Champion Yearling Colt, he went on to be crowned Reserve World Champion Two Year Old Park Harness, Reserve World Champion Four Year Old Park Harness, and racked up tricolors as a Pleasure Driving and Park Saddle horse over the years as well.

When Rob Greenway’s niece, MacKenzie Chianca, began riding with Anne Benson in the academy program, Roxanne began to envision Blitz as the perfect walk-trot horse in his twilight years. It didn’t take long for her to make a little girl’s dream come true as Blitz became a Team Sarde member during the 2014 Massachusetts Morgan Show, much to the delight of MacKenzie and her family.

MacKenzie has worked hard for the last several years honing her skills as a rider, while Roxanne and her niece, Victoria Ricci, enjoyed showing Blitz in the Junior Exhibitor, Ladies and Amateur Park Saddle divisions.

This past year, MacKenzie finally began to enjoy Blitz in her lessons! We are all overjoyed that this pair has finally gotten to share some up-down time!
